Dangerous

With the fifth album already on its way to me, it's high time to review the previous one. We'll see if this one will be able to join the other two in the golden 10 club. A 9 should be certain but also that MtA will remain their best work. The cover has nice colours but Annika looks stoned, Per like he's trying to cover his baldness with a mop and Pier that he's kept on (loving me) putting on weight.

#1 Dangerous 10

Almost as good as Alive. And that's saying something. The lyrics are nice, better than their average, which is an additional plus. I remember that the video for this would've been particularly bad.

#2 How Could You Leave Me 10

These albums that have full 10s in a row are a true rarity. Even more similar to Alive than Dangerous. Therefore probably not the best choice as the second single.

#3 Come Away with Me 8

Speaking of bad single choices... The token latin tracks have got worse time by time after Wonder Where You Are.

#4 Waiting for Me 9½

DB in general is brilliant car music but this is especially suitable.

#5 Stay Forever Young 9

Quite similar to WfM but a little weaker. Great anyway.

#6 Lost without You 8½

It's in fact true that the basic stuff on this album is not as good as on the two previous ones.

#7 Set My Heart on Fire 7

The slow song is always in a different position but always there.

#8 I Love You 8

The day had to come that they made this title...

#9 Stuck 9

I can't understand how I've starred these, as this was only three and the previous was four. Well, now I've reversed them.

#10 I've Been Waiting for Someone like You 9

It's clear to see that they've seen extra trouble to make sure their titles aren't too similar. This could've been simply called Waiting for You or Someone like You and the previous one Stuck without You.

#11 Can't Give Up for Love 9

By #8 it seemed threateningly that this album would flop onto a 8 but it's been steadily recovering since then. Unless the last one is really bad, it'll be a safe 9.

#12 Magic in the Air 8½

At least the name is good. Kinda voidy but not bad.
