Oh my, here we go... This album has become something of a benchmark for badness. Now well see if it really is as bad as you'd think... I should probably have bought the first album instead, if I really had to buy one...
#1 Sorry I'm in Love 8
Could this be the only half decent track on this whole CD? After all I bought it having heard only this one. And when buying I thought the lyrics would've been a lot cleverer than they avtually are. She's sorry to someone because she's in love with another person, but she should say she's sorry because she's in love with someone, that would be a lot more exciting.
#2 Kiss by Kiss 6
Someone on the AoB chat praised this to heaven but I really can't see why. Such a silly melody.
#3 Johnny Come Lately 9
I guess I don't understand the title because it sounds very exciting to me. Probably it's just something totally clichéd. Anyway I guess this is the track that surprises me every time (both of the two) I listen to this CD. Maybe this is my favourite track then. Reminds me of Donnie by AoB, that can't be bad. By the way, that was already the second AoB reference in this review...
#4 Before I Fall 8
This must be the point where I usually err to think this maybe isn't so pathetic of an album after all...
#5 Girlfriend 7
Somehow reminds me of Mandy Moore. Quite a "renkutus" but not too annoying.
#6 Playin' It By Heart 6½
At least it's easy to figure out the titles of these tracks though I had no previous precollection of them at all as she says them clearly and most of the time right at the beginning.
#7 If It's Gonna Be You 5
Booh how boring. There's a little point where it sounds like Jessica Simpson's What's It Gonna Be but that passes as soon as it came.
#8 What If I Told You 6
She seems pretty iffy today... But I'm not that in my grading.
#9 Heaven 8½
This is cover but from whose piece? Something from the 80's? Some girl band? Must check. [UPDATE 060210] Well of course, Bryan Adams.
#10 My Love Is True 7
Not bad but not very good either.
#11 Tell Me Why 8
The first track actually to possess some atmosphere.
#12 Say You Will (Or Say You Won't) 7
This is sooo clearly a copy of Britney's Don't Go Knocking on My Door, only worse.
#13 Supergirl 5
Now she's going more onto the B*Witched side. How come in the end all B-class pop starlets sound exactly the same? The answer's Max Martin, of course. Even this must be a weaker version of its predecessor. Totally tedious.
