2004 was a good year with two brilliant Koyote albums. This one is probably not as good as Tisykhowang, even though it has a wonderful colour scheme, like the name suggests. Are there rainbows in the winter? Well, in Korea there must be. I so also want a rainbow scarf like the one Shinji has.

#1 Lover

Very charming. The English inserts are just the best: "I'm not your lover, I lost my lover [..] Forget my love all, for brand new lover [..] You're not my lover, I can't remember [..] My love is over, I just discover". I should almost give extra points just for that. There.

#2 Nyrike Kôtki 9

Totally basic and not what I would've chosen as a FT...

#3 Hajan Tonghwa 10

... because I would've chosen this! So wonderful, not to say different from all of their other work. Light and cheery, with an 80's sound. Uh, I've eaten a whole chocolate bunny and start to feel more than a bit nauseous... Oh the wonderful rap conversation! "All my ladies now come on! - Yee! - Fellas now come one! - Yöö..."

#4 Saranghêjo...

Wow, this is a decent ballad.

#5 Pingko 9

And the first FT. I really can't understand how they could leave this last in the Eurocup. Stupid people. The video is wonderful.

#6 Rush

I seem to have given quite a few times three stars on this album. We'll see if any of them might get upgraded. At least this did.

#7 Hey Shy Boy 7

This half-funky half-discoy style has been present on their latter albums but never made an impression. Not this time, either.

#8 Hêphi Pairôsy 6

This must mean happy something in English but what? Piracy? Bureaucracy? Ah! Virus! There seems, though, to be more of the virus and less of the happy, I'm afraid. Sometimes the pointless American romanisation can be easier to guess than mine but most of the time not, like here, where it would've been "Hae Pee Ba Ee Ruh Seu"...

#9 Ithal 9

Why does this sound so familiar? Because it was a FT? It was, I remember, but how is that possible? Was this album really so successful that it managed four? Must've been. The same comments as for Nyrike Kôtki.

#10 Papo 7

Rather boring but not offensive.

#11 Sarangyn Khôphijang Zhôrôm 7

Another not bad ballad.

#12 Pimil 9

Back to basics.

#13 Jônsyp 6

This might quite well be Koyote's weakest album. Apart from Feel Up, of course, but I don't own it yet, so it doesn't really count.

#14 Aza! Aza! 9

Ingenious fusion of Dschingis Khan's title song and Moskau. Too bad neither ever was such a big favourite for me as for many others.

#15 Khêrol Metylli

This fusion is more my type, even though Rudolf the Red-nosed Reindeer isn't a favourite of mine like Feliz navidad and especially Sykhizangesô, which might just be the best Christmas song ever. Koyote's version of it is even better than Turbo's.
