My first foreign CD - this is guaranteed to become a long review...

#1 Wannabe

Where it all began. Not for me yet, though. Nonsense lyrics of course, but the more the merrier, eh? I so remember this playing on the radio during our art class and a random guy turning it off.

#2 Say You'll Be There

Were the so many songs about "being there" before or are they all just imitations of this? To my record this was the single that launched my spicemania, during which I listened to this CD 24/7 and taped everything SG on the TV (not to mention anything about forcing my friends to watch the tapes (well, not that I hadn't got anything in return...))...

#3 2 Become 1

Never one of my favourites, though I do understand why it was so successful. It's funny how different people have SG CDs in their shelves. Let's just take some examples I've witnessed regularly: Nanna and Mami, whose shelves probably have very little other in common. And Kati and me, of course. If also HRL had them, the picture would be perfect.

#4 Love Thing

"OK" is the word to describe this. Definitely better than most of the generic fillers on this.

#5 Last Time Lover 6

Uuh ööh, so lazy. And having heard these more times than what the doctor prescribes doesn't help at all.

#6 Mama

This actually seems to have grown a bit during the time I've not been listening to these. The repetition takes some points out, though.

#7 Who Do You Think You Are 10

Just the tops. Mental note: don't try to act all of the lyrics concretely when dancing...

#8 Something Kinda Funny 7

I don't know if this title can be turned against its owner. At least my cousin Kirsi used it effectively by modifying it into "We Smell Kinda Funny". Suddenly I got strong Mythos flashbacks. I really need to find my old decks. Where can they be? Must ask Kati if I'd have left them in her place some time long ago. After all, I did find the dual lands after more than of year of searching...

#9 Naked

Oo horror. An association to Daphne & Celeste's I Love Your Sushi isn't enough to rescue this flubby piece of jelly.

#10 I U Can't Dance

For Kirsi this utter horror was quite accurately "If You Can't Sing"...
