We Believe We Are Heading for a Victory Once Again...

Reviewing too much Koyote in a row does funny things to your brains... Well, I'm on a streak so let's do it. This album is apparently aimed at the Korea/Japan Football World Championships.

#1 Phyrophil 6

This is one of their worst fast pieces. Outright dull. The only bonus is Shinji rapping. Footbally too.

#2 Pimong 9

It's funny how I can usually safely put a nine as the score from the first notes already. Their quality is just so dependable. Quite basic but still the first FT? I would've picked Unmjông instead.

#3 Êrjôn 8½

The second FT, unless I remember incorrectly. I guess I would've gone for Temizi or Over instead.

#4 Unmjông 9½

I complained about the silly beginning rappings on the fifth album but they're no less on this one either. The chord and melody progression in the chorus is just very good. This is probably my second favourite from the albums 1-5, after the wide to Pharan. Only if the instrumental was just a bit better...

#5 Over 9

This is one of the best tracks on the album but I've run out of things to say. Fortunately this is the last Koyote album I have with me today.

#6 Y 7

Their only ballad FT to date. Inspires to use it's title against it: "Y?" Actually I'm not sure, whether a more official title for this is "Y" or "Wê" (Korean for 'why'). But at least it's not "Y Bobby" as commonly stated. Sure, the typings on the album cover are a bit obscure but still, people, grow eyes! Bobby is the composer.

#7 Temizi 9

One of my early favourites and still probably the second best track of the album.

#8 Happy Song 8

Aptly titled but could still be happier.

#9 Arirang Moktong 8½

Straightforward football anthem, completely chanty with "Hankuk!" being shouted. But somehow I like this. Why oh why in Finland there can't be sport tunes like this?

#10 Usza 9

Better happy song than Happy Song. I especially like the clapping drums in the chorus.

#11 Loving You 8½

This must be what I dubbed their best ballad while sitting in our car at the Old Dump during New Year's night. This would've been a better FT than Y.

#12 Hwanhyi 9

Oh, this is also one of my favourites.

#13 Mêtyp 8

This is not bad either.

#14 Over (Remix Version) 9

OK remix, though the raps are the only difference I can tell.
